Common questions about the application process

What if I don't have a pitch deck yet?

That's okay for Pitch Accelerator—we'll help you build one. For Demo Day, we recommend having at least a draft deck. If you're early, apply to Pitch Accelerator first.

How competitive is acceptance?

For Pitch Accelerator, we accept most applicants who are coachable and committed (limited by cohort size: 8-12 per cohort). For Demo Day, we select 6-15 founders per event based on pitch readiness and investor fit. Pitch Accelerator graduates get priority.

What if I'm not sure which program to choose?

Apply to both and we'll guide you. Or start with Pitch Accelerator—it's the primary pathway and graduates get Demo Day placement.

Can I apply if I'm not based in LA, NYC, or SF?

Yes! Pitch Accelerator is remote (join from anywhere). Demo Day events are in-person, but founders fly in from all over.

What if I can't commit to the full 4 weeks right now?

New Pitch Accelerator cohorts start regularly. Apply for a future cohort that fits your schedule. Tell us in the "Availability" question.

Is there a deadline to apply?

For Pitch Accelerator: rolling admissions (apply anytime for the next cohort). For Demo Day: applications close 3-6 weeks before each event. Check the Demo Day page for event-specific deadlines.

Do I have to pay to apply?

No. Applications are free. Pitch Accelerator has tuition ($699/$1,500) after acceptance. Demo Day has no cost to pitch.
